Memetic, adjective. Of or relating to a meme — a unit of culture that spreads from mind to mind by imitation.
Memetics is the study of that spread. It asks of ideas, images, habits, and beliefs the questions genetics asks of bodies. What replicates. What dies out. What the carrier gets in return.
